THE CHALLENGE

In 2024, Swansons, Seattle’s oldest and most beloved garden center, reached an incredible milestone—100 years in business. Tucked away in North Seattle, outside the city’s main retail corridors, Swansons needed a campaign that would do more than celebrate its centennial.

THE SOLUTION

We launched “100 Years and Growing,” a yearlong celebration that honored Swansons’ legacy while planting the seeds for the next century. To extend Swansons’ reach beyond its loyal base, we partnered with the Seattle Seahawks and their nonprofit community partners, bringing the joy of gardening to the greater Seattle community.

Key activations included:

-Seahawks mascot Blitz kicking off the campaign in a Swansons apron, sparking playful brand moments.

-Community garden builds at local schools, creating hands-on learning experiences.

-A Mother’s Day flower pop-up, securing a prime feature on the Seahawks' Instagram.

-Gardening workshops at Doug Baldwin’s Family First Foundation, teaching sustainable skills.

-A mobile Kei Truck activation at Seahawks home games, bringing plants and inspiration to fans.

The campaign drove record-breaking engagement and revenue, attracting thousands of new customers and strengthening Swansons’ community ties. After 100 years, the brand isn’t just celebrating its past—it’s growing stronger than ever.
