THE SITUATION

The Tableau Community Team wanted a way to reinforce their mission of “helping people see and understand data,” while also driving awareness of their robust Tableau community.

THE SOLUTION

We made their community part of our creative solution when we combined data + music to develop an irresistible “brief” for the community. It prompted them to make data visualizations that explore the most interesting corners of music-related data. Their output served to engage them in a way that helped prove Tableau’s promise to a broader consumer base.

 We then created animated spots based on the real community data + music visualizations that were submitted. Along with their data visualizations, the community also took part in the campaign by creating new original content, including livestreams, webinars, and editorial content.
