THE CHALLENGE

Technology is only as powerful as the people it empowers. For IT professionals, ensuring that every employee can fully engage with their tools isn’t just an operational necessity—it’s a responsibility. Yet, accessibility in IT has often been treated as a secondary feature rather than a core function. At Microsoft Ignite, we were tasked with changing that narrative—showing that inclusivity isn’t just a nice-to-have, but a competitive advantage and a defining responsibility for IT leaders.

THE SOLUTION

Talent Unlocked brings this vision to life through the story of Dave Dame, Microsoft’s Director of Accessibility, whose journey embodies the relentless pursuit of human potential.

Born with cerebral palsy, Dave grew up in a world that wasn’t designed for him. Through overcoming adversity, he developed an unshakable belief: talent isn’t limited—opportunity is. His perspective bridges past and present, showcasing how Windows, AI, and Copilot are transforming workplaces by removing barriers and unlocking untapped talent.

The message is clear: inclusivity isn’t charity—it’s a competitive advantage.
